Republican Primary Debate Schedule 2016

The Republican National Committee has already hosted five debates during the latter half on 2015 to wittle down a broad field of 17 candidates.  At the start of 2016, that field stands at 12.  Few expect more drop-outs before the results of the early primaries and caucuses in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.  Donald Trump and Ted Cruz continue to hold front runner status to clinch the GOP’s nomination.  Many

For at least the first two debates that kick off the January schedule, the party will host platforms for main-stage candidates with undercard candidates participating in earlier scheduled or kiddie table debates. Here’s the schedule so far.  The schedule will be updated as more information becomes available.

** UPDATES:

The GOP has disinvited the National Review from co-sponsoring and participating in the debate scheduled for February 25 in Houston, Texas after the journal published a manifestor of sorts against front running candidate, Donald Trump.  This is Houston debate is the last for the GOP before the decisive Super Tuesday.
