Parties’ Presidential Nominating Conventions 2016

Five political parties are scheduled to hold nominating conventions to contest the presidential election on November 08.  Although attention is paid predominantly to the two main parties, Democratic and Republican, as they go through the process of selecting their candiates, other parties who command some support across the country also complete similar processes.

Here’s the nominating convention schedule so far.  We will continue to update the information as it becomes available.

 

Constitution Party Convention:

Date:  April 13 – 17
Location:  Salt Lake City, Utah

Libertarian Party Convention:

Dates:  May 27 – 30
Location:  Rosen Centre Hotel and Resort, Orlando, FL

Republican Party Convention:

Dates:  July 18 – 21
Location:  Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH
